These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the HER Gov Community and the purchase of paid HER Gov memberships. By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Membership

HER Gov provides a professional community designed to support women entrepreneurs through education, networking, resources, relationship-building, events, and opportunities related to business growth, government contracting, and corporate contracting.

Membership benefits vary based on the membership level selected. Current membership benefits and pricing are described on the HER Gov website and/or applicable enrollment page.

HER Gov reserves the right to update, modify, replace, or discontinue individual membership benefits, programming, resources, or events as the community evolves. When practical, members will be notified of material changes affecting their membership.

Recurring Billing

Paid HER Gov memberships are subscription-based and will automatically renew according to the billing frequency selected at enrollment unless canceled.

By enrolling in a paid membership, you authorize HER Gov to charge the payment method provided at checkout for the applicable membership fee and any applicable taxes on each renewal date.

Membership pricing is subject to change. Members will be provided reasonable notice before a pricing change applies to a future renewal.

Cancellation

Members may cancel their recurring membership at any time before their next scheduled billing date.

Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically generate a refund for payments that have already been processed.

After cancellation, membership access and benefits will generally remain available through the end of the member's current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

Members are responsible for canceling before their next renewal date if they do not wish to be charged for another billing period.

Failed Payments

If a membership payment is declined, returned, disputed, or otherwise unsuccessful, HER Gov may temporarily suspend membership access while payment is outstanding.

Membership access may be restored once the outstanding payment issue has been resolved.

Membership Benefits

Membership benefits are available only to eligible active members and are subject to the specific terms, availability, capacity, registration requirements, deadlines, and other conditions associated with each benefit.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, unused membership benefits do not have a cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or carried forward after membership ends.

Certain events, programs, drawings, promotions, or special opportunities may have separate eligibility requirements, rules, registration requirements, or terms.

Events

HER Gov membership may include complimentary admission, preferred access, discounts, VIP benefits, or other event-related benefits depending on membership level.

Membership does not guarantee admission to every HER Gov event. Some events may have limited capacity, separate registration requirements, additional fees, deadlines, or eligibility requirements.

HER Gov reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, postpone, or cancel events when necessary.

No Guarantee of Business Results

HER Gov provides education, resources, community, networking, and access to information and opportunities.

Membership does not guarantee that a member will receive a government contract, corporate contract, grant, certification, funding, business opportunity, partnership, referral, increase in revenue, or any other specific business or financial result.

Members remain responsible for their own business decisions, applications, proposals, compliance requirements, financial decisions, and results.

Educational Information

Information provided through HER Gov programs, workshops, community discussions, resources, events, or other membership activities is intended for general educational and informational purposes.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, HER Gov does not provide legal, accounting, tax, investment, or financial advice through membership. Members should consult appropriately qualified professionals regarding decisions specific to their individual businesses or circumstances.

Community Conduct

HER Gov is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, collaborative, and supportive environment.

Members are expected to communicate respectfully, protect confidential or proprietary information shared by other members, refrain from harassment or discriminatory behavior, and avoid conduct that disrupts or harms the community.

HER Gov reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for conduct that violates community standards, threatens the safety or integrity of the community, involves fraudulent or unlawful activity, or materially harms HER Gov, its members, partners, sponsors, guests, or representatives.

Member Responsibility

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate contact and billing information and for protecting their login credentials and account access.

Membership credentials and member-only resources may not be shared with individuals who are not authorized members unless HER Gov expressly permits such sharing.

Intellectual Property

HER Gov materials, training resources, recordings, templates, presentations, graphics, curriculum, digital content, and other proprietary materials are provided for the member's personal or internal business use unless otherwise stated.

HER Gov materials may not be reproduced, resold, redistributed, published, uploaded, commercially exploited, or represented as the member's own work without written authorization.

Photos, Video & Recordings

HER Gov events and activities may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for educational, archival, promotional, marketing, or media purposes.

When additional consent is legally required for a particular use, HER Gov will obtain such consent as appropriate.

Changes to These Terms

HER Gov may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the HER Gov website, member portal, email, or another reasonable method.

Continued use of a paid membership following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
